Synopsis
Welcome to first-century Judea: a fiercely spiritual and also volatile Roman province under the iron rule of the empire’s most feared legion — the elite Legio-X Boars.
When the commander’s runt son, Lucius, nearly dies during a savage rite of passage, his miraculous survival marks the beginning of a destiny that will one day transcend the legion, the empire, and even death itself.
Forged in secret by a battle-hardened veteran, Lucius rises through the ranks to become a harder, sharper, more relentless commander than the notorious father he longs to surpass. But his world begins to fracture when he encounters the mysterious Jewish “king” his father once sought to kill.
