Shangri-La-La

Synopsis
Shangri-La-La is a comedy musical that follows Joshua, a wide-eyed young German who
arrives in Las Vegas chasing his glittering dream of glamour, excitement, and reinvention.
Landing a job as assistant to Vegas legends Siegfried and Roy, Joshua believes he’s finally
found paradise—until he discovers that “Sin City” has more truth than sparkle.
Beneath the neon lights lurks a world where mobsters, magicians, and hustlers rule, and
justice is sold to the highest bidder.
Drawing on the Wild West tradition of “hanging judges”
and the city’s mob-built roots, the show blends outrageous satire with toe-tapping musical
numbers to explore what happens when innocence collides with corruption.
With a mix of
spectacle, absurdity, and heart, Shangri-La-La is both a send-up and a love letter to the city
of illusions—where what glitters might dazzle, but the real gold is learning to see throughthe show.
